Sure go ahead and remind us.

Iraq did not do 9-11 - We know...thanks. Iraq did extend medical aid and safe haven to Al Queda and the Taliban during the Afghanistan war. As our Nation's leaders properly stated... those who support terrorists will be treated as terrorists themselves.

No Iraqi people were on those planes. - Yes, we know this. We don't make this assertion, and never did.

Bush lied about the reasons to go to war. Bush lied and troops die. - Bush used world-wide generally accepted intelligence gathered by multi-nations well before taking office. Saddam administration wanted everyone to believe he had WMD and was successful. WMD was a reason given...but certainly not the only reason. The systematic extermination of Kurds was all the reason a civilized world requires to remove Saddam. You say he lied as if his "lies" somehow fooled you into supporting the war. I wager you didn't support it from the start ... and so were not fooled into supporting anything.

Iraq was son threat to the USA.- I think you mean "no threat" and you are wrong. True that now he is no threat.

The war will be lost just like we lost Vietnam in 1975. The USA will go down in abject defeat and shame.
Now you are spouting bitter opinion which of course will be discredited in time. I understand you want to be right about this...but you will be wrong.

You are absolutely right. Iraq had no direct involvement with 9-11. Bush stated unequivocably that Iraq had WMDs. This was a lie. THIS STATEMENT was the reason Congress and many of the American people supported the war. Whether the statement was based on faulty intelligence or not makes no difference. The buck stops at the President. 2,500 American troops and many more Iraqis have died needlessly in a war that should have never happened. Yes, Saddam is a bad man. Iraq is better off without him. However, I do not believe the invasion of Iraq was about Saddam or about liberating the Iraqi people. It was about oil and about greed. Plain and simple. There are many equally horrendous things happening in the world (Africa, for one). We DO NOTHING. Meanwhile, the REAL mastermind behind 9-11, Bin Laden, is still free. He is "not a priority" for our President. It is ludicrous. George Bush is an idiot and should be impeached. I only hope that the rest of America remembers what our country was like a mere six years ago and vote DEMOCRAT in 2008.

Well I am glad you have your mind already made up and then asked a question but here goes:

We are fighting a war that cannot be seen, just like the cold war. But unfortunatly, you forget something very important! 9-11! How many people died on that day? We are fighting to avenge them and their families. With every ingurgent we kill we are taking a ist out and making our country safer. The better question is "Why do you not support our troops?" They do what they do because they want to putting their *** on the line to save people like you and I can never understand why? Support them, they make the ultimate sacrfice and you do not even acre about what they are fighting for.

Let me remind you that President Clinton, your hero, said that Saddam had WMD and was the biggest threat to this Nation. Let me remind you that EVERY intelligence agency in the world agreed with that assesment. Let me remind you that Saddam's intelligence agency had direct contact with and provided support to Al Queida long before the war. Let me remind you that since the war in Iraq began that our great military has ELIMINATED at least 40% of the top leaders in Al Queida right there on the ground in Iraq. Better there than here.

It may be alright, but your reminder will fall on deaf ears. You'll be accused of being a non-supporter, a terrorist sympathizer, etc. Save yourself the trouble and anxiety and feel comfortable within yourself that you have a reasonably accurate perspective on the Iraq situation.

I'm with you right down to the last one. You are entitled to your opinion, and I to mine. If the war is lost, blame will lie squarely with those at the highest levels of command, not those actually doing the work on the ground.

Thank you cosmo5847060, for proving his point.
