Six Flags Over Georgia is located on I-20 west of Atl. Traveling into town take exit 46, and if traveling west, away from town, take exit 47 and follow the signs. Ride Goliath for me!!

FROM AUGUSTA:
Go West on I-20 to exit 47 or 46A.
FROM BIRMINGHAM:
Six Flags is located on Interstate 20 East, take exit 46.
FROM MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA:
East on I-85 to GA, NE on I-85 to I-285 N to I-20 West to exit 47 or 46A.
FROM GREENVILLE, S. CAROLINA:
Go SW on I-185 to I-85 SW to GA. Go SW on I-85 to I-285 West to I-20 West to exit 47 or 46A.
FROM NASHVILLE:
Go East on I-40 to I-24 SE to GA. NE on I-24 to TN. East on I-24 to I-75 SE to GA. SE on I-75 to I-285 West to I-20 West to exit 47 or 46A.
TRAVEL TIPS:
To date there are no tolls on the above mentioned interstates. Busy times to travel are between the hours of 6 am - 10 am and 4 pm - 7 pm. It is always a good idea to avoid downtown Atlanta traffic.

It's just west of Atlanta. Take I-20 west and you'll see the exit for Six Flags clearly. Actually, you'll see Six Flags to your left right around the time you see the signs...

It is off of I-20W. You will exit off of Six Flags Drive. (Unless things have changed since I lived there.) I have moved since then.

DETOUR DIRECTIONS:
– From I-20 eastbound, take EXIT 41 "Lee Road". At the end of the ramp, turn RIGHT
– Travel approximately 180 yards and turn LEFT onto "Monier Ave"
– Travel approximately 3 miles as Monier becomes Blair Bridge Road and eventually intersects Thornton Road. Turn RIGHT onto "Thornton Road"
– Travel approximately 2.5 miles and take a LEFT onto “Lower River Road”
– Travel approximately 0.8 miles and take a RIGHT onto “Riverside Parkway SW”
– Travel approximately 2 miles and Six Flags Over Georgia will be located on your RIGHT
Premium Parking is located on the right. To reach Classic parking, continue on Riverside Parkway and turn RIGHT just past the Wendy’s. Be sure to park in an official Six Flags Over Georgia parking lot! Six Flags is not responsible for vehicles parked off property.

– From I-20 eastbound, take EXIT 44 “Thornton Rd. – Lithia Springs”. At the end of the ramp, turn RIGHT
– Travel approximately 2.7 miles and take a LEFT onto “Lower River Road”
– Travel approximately 0.8 miles and take a RIGHT onto “Riverside Parkway SW”
– Travel approximately 2 miles and Six Flags Over Georgia will be located on your RIGHT

I-285 / I-20 Junction detour
If you are traveling from the park to I-285, consider a short detour.
– When leaving the park, make your way to exit 47 directly in front of the Six Flags Over Georgia main entrance. However, instead of exiting onto the interstate, go under the overpass and travel approximately 200 yards from the overpass to “Lee Industrial Boulevard” and take a RIGHT
– Travel approximately one mile and take a RIGHT onto “Mableton Parkway SW”
– Travel approximately 1.2 miles and take a LEFT onto “Fulton Industrial Boulevard”
– Travel approximately 2 miles to Highway 78/278 and make a RIGHT
I-285 is located just over 400 yards away with the South exit on the right and North exit to the left.
