One, this has nothing to do with quotations, ask this in religion,
two, if your name is not a bad one, why change it ? but if you feel you have made such a big change in your life by converting that you want to change everything, then go ahead and change your name too, but choose a good one, carefully.

If ur last name is related to u.. and not ur family name or father's name than u r free...
and nothing is Haram in such sense... ppl r just trying to mess ur thoughts abt Islam..
Islam wants Ease in life and u should take easy such trivial matters...
