I've tried searching for it online, but can only see it for purchase!

VINEGAR LOAF
[From YK , Sowerby Bridge, Parish Cookbook]

1 lb flour
½ lb raisins
1 oz candied peel chopped
½ lb currants
½ lb sugar
½ teasp allspice
½ teasp bi-carb. soda
6 oz margarine
1 teasp nutmeg
small wineglass of vinegar
1¼ cups milk

Rub margarine into flour add sugar fruit and spices.
Sprinkle into mixture bic-carb and mix with 1¼ cups milk add last of all a small wineglass of vinegar.
Put into tins and bake at Gas Mark 2 for 1½ hours

Try looking for it on cook books (as a store) then jot down the recepie.

I cannot find the recipe anywhere, your only luck would probably be to buy it online and have it shipped to you.
