i'm not christian i'm pagan. i don't call it sixth sense though. ever since i was little i would have dreams that would come true all the time. that diminished somewhat as i grew older but i still get them occasionally. i can also tell when people are behind me and if i stood on a street with my back to every one i can tell how many people are behind me. i can also read playing cards, although i've never been able to read tarot. and i can tell what's going on with people, like if some one is far away i can think of them and know how they are doing. that's really helpful right now cuz my friend is in iraq.

I don't know about you, but I have never heard anyone say, "I really shouldn't have trusted my gut instincts." That's basically what it's about, being in tune to your intuition.
I do spiritual healing with singing bowls. I play the bowl in someone's hand, and feel the vibrations as they extend through the person, and can tell them where the vibrations are and what they're doing.
I used to work with a Reiki master who could tell people many details about their lives while we were doing our energy work. Very specific things
One time on a camping trip, we created a psychic link which allowed us to keep tabs on each other without needing those family band radios.
One time, while engaging in on-line activities, a witch and I played a game of "where am I touching you" and we were able to correctly identify where and how the other person was touching from thousands of miles apart over IM
For a while, a friend and I maintained a karmic connection, and sometimes I would smell something, and call her up, and it was exactly what she was smelling.
"Did you just make cookies?"
"Was the dog just breathing in your face?"
"Did you just disinfect something?"
Often times when I'm driving, I'll see someone walking who doesn't look as several cars go past, and I'll look at the person, and they'll turn to look as I approach. Whereas people with the person (the ones I wasn't looking at) don't turn.

I was raised Catholic but don't consider myself a Christian. I consider myself to be spiritually aware.
I believe that we bring all of our life experiences into being with the power of our thoughts, beliefs, words and actions. In other words, we get back what we put out.
I frequently experience sixth sensory situations. When the phone rings I often sense who is calling. (No, not because of the caller i.d. either :)
When driving I try to follow my gut as to what route to take and can't tell you how many times I have avoided traffic jams and accidents because of it.
The most telling though, is when I start thinking about someone, or have a dream about someone I haven't seen in sometime. Inevitably I will run into them or a close family member shortly after that. This happens to me ALL the time lately.
I believe that these two things (Christianity and sixth sensory living) can and do exist without conflict. Who do you think endowed us with a sixth sense? Our source creator (God, if you will). Being in touch with our sixth sense brings us into closer alignment with our source, who is there to guide us.

I am not able to do what you are describing but I am able to know things as they are happening even when they are miles away. I knew that my Grandad had died to the exact time even though we were 3 states apart at the time.
I am christian also and I do believe that these things can coexist. It is said in the bible that each person receives spiritual gifts after receiving the Holy Spirit. I am not sure of the exact book but I know it is new testament. I think in either ACTS or 1,2 Chorinthians. If you want more information please feel free to email me and I will see if I can look it up for you.

having a sixth (or seventh sense) has nothing to do with religion. You are genetically predetermined regardless of whether you believe it or whether you want to believe it. So yes, these things can and DO exist without conflict. Many Christians believe in hands on healing, exorcism, being able to communicate with GOD and what would these be called if they weren't sixth senses? I think that Christians become afraid that if other non-christians have these abilities that it doesn't come from God, but when they do it does come from God and its OK. If you know in your heart that you can practice and learn psychic arts, but it is from goodness and wanting to help rather than from selfishness or manipulation it is OK. And I think that is a Universal rule. How can we condemn the gifts GOD gave us?
My husband was in the seminary (Christian) and he performed exorcisms when necessary (or attampted to do so when he wasn't successful) He has also performed many healings of animals and people. If one was to cure someone with psychic or Godly abilities how can that be wrong? It becomes wrong however, if people use it for their own gains and manipulation. then that cannot coexist with spirituality.

Yes, and I've never told anyone. I can sense a theft. Like once I was sleeping and this guy actually CRAWLED DOWN OUR CHIMNEY AND FIT and like he actually made it! He took this stuff when all of the sudden I woke up with a voice screaming '911' in my head. I snuck up behind him, and killed him with a knife. My parents never knew, because the next morning was a Saturday so I dragged his body out to a lake across our street and threw him in after butchering him. It was so scary.

yes, i get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach whenever something bad is about to happen. (by the way, we have 8 senses, not 5, so it would really be the ninth sense)
