If someone is currently a sinner, they are not a Christian and need to be saved. Everyone has sinned, but everyone does not remain a sinner.

We accept everyone and invite everyone. At the same time, everyone is a sinner. You must recognize this fact in order to be a Christian. If you don't believe you're a sinner, then you make Jesus into a liar and His sacrifice on the Cross meaningless. The first step in getting rid of a problem is to admit you have the problem. In this case, the problem is sin. It's easy to spot this problem in other people, but you really need to be humble enough to see it in yourself. The next step is to take your sin to the Cross and believe He forgives you with the power of His sacrifice. Then by faith apply the cleansing to your life. Receive Him into your life if you haven't already.

Everyone is a sinner. There were only two people who were perfect and cannot and did not sin, and the are Jesus and His mother Mary.

No, you do not have to be a sinner. But if you are human, then you are not without sin, since it's human nature to sin. Even the tiniest thing can be considered a sin even if you don't know it. That's why Jesus died on the cross, to forgive everyone of their sins as long as they repent and have Him in their heart.

Christians are, by definition, sinners who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and who have received His forgiveness for their sins. This means they will go to Heaven, but not Hell, which is reserved for those who do not accept Jesus.
