When i ha d a blind date the girl that hooked us up told me he looked like ll cool j i could not wait to meet him when i met him he looked like elmer fudd off looney tunes, don;t expect too much.

i have had good blind dates. One of my blind dates we talked for like 3 hours then we went to the movies. It went well. we enjoyed each other company and dated for a month. But it was long distance too so it didn't work out. But blind dates are under rated. cause they are sometimes better then knowing the person at first. You got antisipation of who is this person. what do they look like. Dislikes and likes. pets. etc... You feel like I want to know this person so you comunicate on the first date. If you know that person you don't have to ask cause you already know and then you got awkward silence.

It can be an easy and no-pressure way of meeting new people, as long as the friend doesn't pressure you go on a secod date, especially if you aren't attracted to the date. I went a few through a friend and was only quite smitten with one beautiful Greek girl. I'm Italian. But she was 10 years younger and had no real direction in her life yet. Did I mention she had nice little body. Hehe Anyhow, we were going to all hook up again but she had stuff going on I guess. :(

I was close once, see my question. I think they were setting me up w him. Okay that's not a blinde date. Nor is the other, the jerk and I made plans. He ignored me all night. I hate him. We were "friends" and I already knew him, sorta since he always ignored me. We had a friend who wanted to come, but she had "plans", It looked like a set up. I mean his friend said he liked me before. And then he ignores me till I decide to go home!

Argh! I had one once. I showed up and the first thing that happened was her dog tore one of my pants legs... it went downhill from there.
I never went on another one again.
