Here's the thing, my best friend told me that she doesn't want anything 2 do with her boyfriend anymore. She even told me that i can take him if i want. Her boyfriend being sad and all came to me for comfort. Suddenly, we started to message each other all the time and even became close friends and i started to think that i'm falling for him. One day, he told me if i want to be his girlfriend. I was shocked but i agreed since i like him alot at that time and thinking that my best friend wouldn't mind. After a while,i decided to tell my best friend about it. She said she was cool. But after a while, she started telling me all the bad things bout having a boyfriend and suddenly keeps telling me how she wants to forget about boys and wants to study really hard. She's saying it like i won't study at all cause i have a bf. I was so sad cause i thought she wouldn't mind. (but i study!!) He is my first bf and i really like him but i don't want to lose my best friend!! What should i do?

You are still young and life is short. you need to do what makes you happy and enjoy every moment in life. you can have a relationship and a friend. just don't separate the two. try and see in time if you all can get along. yes im sure it hurts her now but it will past in time cause it always do and you will see as time goes on in life. if things cant work out then he and she wasn't meant to be in your life. life is short and anything can happen. do study though cause it will be worth it in the future. hope i made some sense....

Friends are more important than guys. Friends are forever,guys are whatever. Just tell him that you want to be friends. Thats what i would do. Maybe she isnt such a good friend for telling you those things and saying she was cool with it, when she isnt. Believe me.. who would be cool with their best friend dating their ex? Listen to your heart. Talk to her about it. Ask your self? Is this sweet guy worth losing my bestfriend?

there's an unwritten rule, you don't date your friends exes. Keep your friend, good ones are hard to find, tell your bf you want to be friends only. apologize to your gf.
