You can buy tea without the staple. Some brands have no staple or string, just a free floating bag. Look for your fave flavors in those brands if you're worried about ruining your microwave.

Why would you do that anyway? To make tea, you place a teabag in hot water and let it brew, you don't put it in cold water and then heat it up!

I by no potential use my microwave to warmth water for something. if i choose a cup of tea, i boil it the previous-shaped way.. in my kettle.. For some reason whilst water is zapped, it gets cloudy and does not style the comparable...

If you enjoy seeing the arc it makes =) However, just the heat water and steep the tea bag for a few minutes afterwards.

I wouldn't. I just heat my water in a mug and let my tea bag soak in it for a few minutes after wards with a saucer over it.

I do it all the time to make my iced tea,however now that i said that, the next time I do it it will probably wreck my microwave!
