The only thing that put you in bondage is sin, sin that your father God created for you so you could repent for ,because he put you in bondage in the first place, it is the society of the people with all the “Gold” that they placed value on and sold you the idea that it was of value to build their vision of what their world should be, and to accomplish that, they created a God for you to forgive them for all the brutality they place on you to create their vision, there is no escape

Total freedom is to know Christ Jesus as your Savior because you are no longer in bondage to sin and death. However, if I get what you are alluding to correctly, some people have a distorted view of what "total freedom" actually encompasses. They think that total freedom means that they can do whatever they want. In other words "if it feels good, do it". That type of erroneous and short sighted thinking leads people into bondage because they become slaves to sin and the consequences thereof.

The Gospel, or good news, that Gods Son brought us was about freedom. We no longer need an organizations rules to define sin for us, as it is now a personal definition.

If it's wrong, don't do it.

The good news goes even further. Since we are all sinners, and since our salvation is by Gods grace and will alone, nothing can lose us our salvation except for God.

We are free to do anything that comes our way, right or wrong according to our own personal sense of values, and we need fear no retribution beyond suffering the earthly consequences of our actions.

I did choose total freedom and that is Jesus Christ. Total freedom from things that drag me down, total freedom from addictions, total freedom from fear, total freedom from pressure by other people. It is said that truth sets you free, Jesus is the complete truth and he set me free completely, now I can do whatever I want. Those who live in light can see, those who live in darkness are blind, Jesus is the light.
