For family, no less then $100 and for a co-worker $50-$100. I dunno where these people are from who say like $25, but common! thats cheap. The least amout I got at my wedding was $50. Family all gave at least $100, even family I didn't really know and family who didn't even attend. I say $100 for family, $50 for co-worker.

It depends how close you are personally to each person getting married. A good idea would to be to check if they have a gift registery and see how much the items they are asking for are. on average people give gifts between $25 and $100 for weddings. I think money is impersonal and a thoughtful gift would probably be more appreciated...but its really up to you....Oh and also consider how much the wedding is costing the couple, if its an expensive formal affair and you are eating a sit down dinner you may want to give a little more. Hope this helps...

If you were going to give these people a tangible gift rather than money, how much would you be willing to spend? That's a good guideline. Another good way to figure it out is to give them the price of a nice dinner for two that you could afford. I would assume a family member might rate a bit more of a gift than a co-worker. Your own circumstances must be the final determining factor of the actual dollar amount.

I would say instead of cash give a gift card to their favorite restaurant/store that way they can choose what they need/want. If other people are going with you to the wedding (family or coworker wedding), spend around $50-$100 on the gift card, depending on how close you are with them.
I recommend gift cards over plain cash because it is very tempting to blow cash on useless things instead of spending it wisely. Gift cards may sound like tacky wedding gifts but it definately gets used and they will appreciate it more.

You give more for the family wedding than the co-worker. Gifts are never mandatory, a gift is given at your discretion so you decide how much you feel comfortable giving.

A co- worker 20. to 40.

Depends on how close your relationship... Nevertheless, your economy status must be taken into account too... Gratitutious is the most exquisite gift that could only be seen through our heart.
