I have a male and a female cockatiel.They've been together for 1 and a half years.The male trys to breed with the female but she never lays any eggs. What should I do.

first you need to put them in a quiet spot where noone will bother them. next you need to get them a nest box with some kind of bedding I prefer corn cob bedding. tehn just leave them alone. cockateils do not like to be bothered when they have eggs. just feed and water them and keep their cage clean (bout once a week) and let nature take its course. good luck

i have 2 pairs and i wish they would stop laying eggs!
...you need a breeding box that is large enough for the birds to be in at the same time.
...try putting them in a separate room so they can have quietness
...if that does not work then i say make sure you have a male and a female and maybe buy another female.

You didn't mention the obvious---put a nest box on their cage and that signals the female to want to mate
