I don't remember them praying to Jesus. I actually remember Jesus telling them to pray like this "Our father, who art in Heaven...."

They were Jews. The term Christians didn't come about until the pagans in the city of Antioch coined it as a derogatory term for those religious people who acted like they were "little Christs" which is the meaning of that term.

"So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians. Acts 11:25-26

Interesting question, have you really thought about this one?
First of all, if Jesus is God incarnate, as I believe, then He couldn't be a Jew. God is not Jewish, nor is He the exclusive property of the Jews.
His apostles were Jews when they met Him.(well, most of them were, anyhow, I think Phillip was Greek) But, after they had come to know Him, their loyalties seemed to have shifted a bit, and they became Christians.
Whatever anyone tells you, to be a Christian is to be not-Jewish, just as to be Jewish is to be not-Christian.
Although I am always thrilled to hear that a Jewish man or woman has accepted Christ and come into His church, I know that it would be impossible to become a Christian and remain Jewish. It is a contradiction.
Oh, and by the way...according to some Jewish people I've spoken with, they don't like Christians any better than Muslims do. Most Christians seem to think they ought to reverence the Jews, but I wonder...would they stand still and let a Jew cut their throat for being Christian? I don't think I would....

13 is a lucky number 12 apostles and 1 Jesus that is myth it is not always lucky it is only unlucky when its on a Friday.
These 13 people were the main players in creating the christian religion for the Romans to replace the Pagans, no one ever thought it would take off and stick. The Jews could have given them Judaism, however it was to strict for the Romans

To answer your question, they were Jewish Christians knowing Jesus must die for the cause

Jews. How could they pray to Jesus when he was still
with them? And the Our Father Prayer is a prayer to God,
Jesus' father,our father.
