i think it needs to be because i hate how so many young girls and guys are having kids so young when they are still teens. And as a teen my self i think it's both the guy and girl's concern of preventing pregnancy and STDs

you have a point there but again there is a problem with it too.... all birth control pills for both sexes should be able to be consumed by all coz nowadays birth control medicines cannot be consumed by some people ...those with hypertention and etcs... so if they do come up with birth control for guys...lets hope they get those that all can take... that way, unwanted pregnancies will be greatly reduced....

I think it would be great if they came out with a birth control pill for men. If both parties are using preventative measures that would really cut down on the amount of unwanted pregnancies.

The problem arises that women fall in and out of fertility cycles, while the man is fertile all the time. Since woemn have this "on-off' approach, scientists felt is was easier to shut it down in the off cycle, than to approach trying to turn it off while it was still on.

Although someone said that protection is better if you take the bullets out of the gun than wear a safety vest.

Absolutely! However, I would really only trust myself to control if I get pregnant. Men can come and go, but I'd be the one stuck having to raise a child alone. That's a little too much faith to leave in a man's hand.

It's not like they have to worry about getting pregnant.

If people can't find the time to buy a few condems then I doubt it would work out. But hey, who knows?

um there are condoms, and there is a birth control for men. I dunno if it's available yet but I read it. The only safest 100% effective way to prevent either is NO SEX.
