Apple cider vinegar can be used for a preventive measure. Start taking a teaspoon of vinegar and a teaspoon of honey in a glass of water half an hour before each meal.

I don't think that vinegar is used to fix diarrhea. However, it is used for different health benefits.
I have a friend who drinks vinegar, mixed with equal part of orange juice and cranberry juice. She's calls it her "cleansing juice". She loves it and drinks it every day! Not sure what the real benefits are though.

I have never heard of drinking vinegar to relieve the symptoms of diahrea...
Vinegar is a weak acid. Too much of it will make your body acidic and you will have other problems, such as ulcer sores in your mouth and things like that.
But, I heard from my buddy who swears by this that if you take a "shot" of apple cider vinegar, a day, this will help you lose weight as the acid helps reduce the fat cells....(how true this is, I dont know, as I didnt try it).
To help me from diahrea, I eat bannanas, or apple sauce, or any other types of "roughage", in order to "pass the intestinal bugs" that may be in my system.
I wish you well..

Yes, vinegar is healthy. I would not recommend drinking it as a cure for diarrhea.
Occasionally, I drink a teaspoon of it in 8 ounces of water. It helps with fluid retention and flushing of the kidneys.
Some of my old associates used to drink it to mask their illegal drug use. Not recommended.
