Psalm 143:7-12 (NKJV)
Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
[8] Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.

[9] Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.
[10] Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

[11] Revive me, O Lord, for Your name's sake!
For Your righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
[12] In Your mercy cut off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.

Sometimes God appears to be hiding from us. It is a time to grow and walk in faithfulness. Trust he is there. Read the Bible, pray as you always should. He will eventually show you his presence, but it may take a while.

Keep faithful!! Do what you know He wants...and most of all...stay out of sin.

I say that because during one of my dry times...I drifted and kept drifting. My entire life became one huge mess because I didn't stay faithful when he was hiding his face from me.

Trust Him and do what He says even in the dry times.

I agree with the person who asked if you are reading His Word and fellowshipping with His saints. Those are my only two remedies. Paul said that we are to help each other grow to be more godly (Romans 15:1; Hebrews 10:24-25) and that the Word of God is everything you need as Christian (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Accept whats going own all over the world and that you have no control at all not even for your own self and ask for forgiveness of all the evil people that plane to use us every day to labor on their vision and maybe that will set you straight

Or just understand that God is just an Idea and the closeness you feel is of yourself, what ever good that you thought was coming from God was actually coming from yourself, yes you have that much power, all this time it was you caring for you

I think we all go through that sometimes. I know I do, and I've been a Christian for over forty years.
Try to set aside a special time to be alone with God. Talk to Him just as you would any other good friend. Just pour out everything that's on your mind, don't be afraid of "hurting His feelings", He already knows all that's in your heart, anyhow, you cannot hide it from Him.
Then, it's a good idea to be quiet, both inside and out...and give Him a chance to answer you. He will, you know, and you will know and understand Him when He does. Sometimes His answers are hard to accept, but He knows your heart, and He knows your mind. Listen to Him.

A friend of mine told me of someone he knows -

She knew the His presence, and then one day she did not feel Him. As days went by she considered (and prayed) what she had been (and not been) doing. She could not find anything different. After 1 year she felt His presences again, and has continued to feel Him.

My friend thinks that it was a test, so she would know if she could walk by faith and not by sight(feeling).

So far I can not say that I have ever felt His presence.

God be with you.

Sometimes i think He is angry with me for not helping others or for praying for myself too much or for saying something wrong.
But then there are times when i feel His closeness (usually in deep prayer)and i'm happy again.
It is hard to discribe when i feel His presence,a bit of a shiver up my back or some times i even get close to tears.
