Beer drinking in Mexico?

Why do Mexcian men always drink so much beer. I see this whereever I go, they are always drinking. The rest of the world drink for pleasure but here they drink, drink, and drink and it seems for no reason 24-7.........Any adeas , Why ?................

My husband is part Mexican and drinks all the time.

It maybe because the water is not a good source for drinking??

When people go down there from the United States, they often get intestinal disorders from drinking the water...99/100 times!

The Mexican Government doesnt chlorinate or properly filter the water to remove contaminants. So, the diahrea..

Maybe they think its better to drink the beer, than drink the water and get sick?

Or, they have no jobs, so that they sit around, drinking the money the DO have, just to forget thier miseries, eh?

i think that you are stereo typing this people not all Mexican drink beer some drink tequila well anyways i am marry to a Mexican and i could tell you from experience that not all Mexican drink and if they do it because it cheap the beer in Mexico than in the state why do you think when spring break comes around every one goes cross the border believe me its not for taco bell and have you seen some of their spring break video all the people in the video are not local(Mexican) acting drunk and stupid some of the gringas are taking off there shirts the gringos screaming chucke it chuckit so did i made my point dont judge...

There's a difference of being drunk as a consequence of drinking...
and Drinking to get drunk, something many Americans do when they cross the border into Mexico.

In my experience, I've never seen mexicans go "DUDE, LOOK AT HOW MUCH I CAN DRINK. I WANT TO BE EXTREME SO I'LL DRINK EVERCLEAR STRAIGHT!"

The entire world drinks alcohol. Be it wine, beer, vodka, sake or whatever.

America has a negative stigma associated with consuming alcoholic beverages.

for the most part, your absolutely correct. i lived in mexico for 2 years and i'll admit that they really do drink a lot of beer. but i know a lot of ppl from the united states that do too.
