Yes there are people on here who are sincear in thier asking, and I can work there.
Sorry for not being specific.

The scriptures to which you refer are excellent advice for all Christians. That's why when many of us see questions on here that are obviously bait or disrespectful provocation, we ignore them.

"Foolish and Unlearned questions" would be those that in the Greek means "stupid" questions, or those that would be asked just to "blow wind".

While we must have discernment, and never cause anyone to feel stupid for asking a question, we need to have a necessity to know when someone is really questioning or just "blowing wind". However, I think even in those moments, God DOES plant a seed, that perhaps will one day sprout.

We should NEVER discourage questioning! Churches and/or Religions who do this to their members are destructive and controlling. This is what's called "Spiritual Abuse". If you are in a church that makes it out to be more "holy" to be silent and never question? GET OUT!

It was also Paul who PRAISED the Berean church for their questioning of what he taught! He loved the fact that they DID NOT just take him at his word, but studied it for himself!! Which is my same hope when I see and answer questions on this site!

You know, as a Christian, I probably ought to avoid answering this question, since you obviously asked it to give birth to strife. And it is, of course, a foolish question, since it is intended as a trap, and not a quest for information.
My advice is...if you don't want to talk to someone who is a Christian...don't. I don't think there's any law that says you have to talk to anyone you don't want to, so, just walk away. The worst thing they can do about it, is to pray for you.
Oh, and, you're very welcome.

Yes we should avoid foolish question that get us nowhere. Yet if the ignorant want to know about God it is the Christians duty to inform the unbelieving of the love of God to His children. And the wrath of God to shortly come on the unGodly.

These verses need to be put into context with the preceding verses. By and large, Paul was not referring to the type of questions being asked on this site, and I would guess that the questions he was referring to are not being asked by Christians.

this just illustrated the difference between me and the entire christian population, is my philophy is question everything and answer everything and theres is that a person must be educated "or believe" before they will entertain the question

i have to accuse the christian nation (not the person asking the question but whomever taught her to think this way) of hypocrisy and intellectual bankruptcy

this is why i cant ever be a christian

These truths are about questioning the bible when someone is trying to trip the teacher up. If you didn`t ask every day questions what would you know?

After asking a question in such a polite manner, you are certainly not a christian or muslim for sure. So ain't I.
