true, then there would be no reason for the arabic people to come over here and kill people so they can get into their "heaven". And also that means we (government) would not be having these stupid court orders for the religion stuff.

What terrorists, do you not look at the evidence. Just search conspiracy theories about 9/11 it will shock the pants of you. I'm British n i feel sorry for the American people. The higher powers wanted a reason to control the OIL.
There is no evidence of a plane crashing at the pentagon there is new video footage which clearly shows a low flying missile sized object hitting the pentagon. that's why there is no plane debry on the lawn at the supposed crash site. If a plane of any size had crashed then there would be wing damage to the surrounding walls and windows, there isn't. Also the first plane which hit the wtc wasn't supposed to be filmed by the firemen, you weren't supposed to see the missiles being fired just before it hit, so the plane could conveniently disappear within the tower. Now the second which was suppost to be on the same route as the first Boston to LA. You were supposed to wittness as the media had convenietly converged there cameras at the towers. But why the massive explotion with the second plane if it had the same amount of fuel onboard. Or was it a flying petrol can designed to be spectacular for the media to film and broadcast to billions of veiwers. And can you explain the way they fall just like a controlled demolition. I could understand if they were honest about it and said we used controlled explosives to minimise further damage to the surrounding area. But they just give us pure bullshit saying it was a design flaw, the part of the towers above the fires and damage should have toppeled over to some degree, then maybe causing the rest of the tower to topple the opposite why. BASIC F***ING PHYSICS. They werent made of playing cards were they, they were built to last a long time.

Apart from that yes there are divisions in the islamic world who use there god and religion as a excuse for terrorism.
But that doesn't make religion wrong, there are drugs, medication and illegal, two parts of the same word.
People can beleive in what they wont its there right as a human being just as taking a painkiller or taking heroin.
There would be good and bad people with or without religion think about it.

Religion is an excuse.

If these people were really religious then they would not kill, since killing is wrong in all religions.

In Ireland, religion has been used for an excuse for a long time. It has nothing to do with that. The clash is more culture based and, historically, the haves versus the have-nots. Or competition over land, food, resources.

I would say 9/11 was more about the have-nots feeling aggrieved by the expansionist capitalism of American industry and commerce - why do you think they went for the World Trade Centre? 9/11 would not have happened if the American foreign policy had not been so aggressive. It would not have happened under Clinton.

Obviously you have a problem with religion - that is your issue. Religion has brought comfort to millions of people. What are you going to give them istead? Prozac? McD's? Hatred? You offer no solutions to man's biggest problem - Man's sense of self.

Religion is man made, and so is war, God will not stop this, why should he, do you really think he's going to come running and solve our problems, when lots of people have no respect for each other never mind having respect for God.
People like you make this excuse every time something happens the same old story there can't be a God because he would not let it happen, change the record it's getting boring.
I do agree with you however about abolishing religion, because Faith in God is strong and never lets you down, man made religion will aways try and con you.

Religion didn't cause 9/11, it was simply used as the justification. Economics is, and always has been more powerful. 9/11 was caused by a feeling of injustice in the Moslem world, based on many years of Western foreign policy, particualrly American. Remember that the Taliban, and Bin Laden specifically were created and supported by the US, to oppose Russia in Afghanisatan during the Cold War. Nothing to do with religion everything to do with polictics, power and ideology.
Al Quaida is a political organisation, thinly disguised as a religious one. Religion can be used for good or bad things depending on who's using it, but so can any other beleif system.
Abolishing religion wouldn't solve the worlds problems. Abolishing capitalism might though!

Possibly not that exact event. Brutal,Violent people would need to find or invent another cause or group to rally around as they would still would be of a brutal & violent nature.
The worst thing about most religions is the individual people claiming membership in the ideals, but using the power of the group to advance their own self serving plots under the guise of serving God.
I personally believe in a God, and think that God is equally displeased with anyone who puts thmeselves above others, whether they claim their actions serve a higher being or not.

Those religions that are the problem are the false religions of the world, not God's true religion. God plans to abolish those religions and set up His Kingdom in their place. For more information, checkout the free booklet "Are We Living In The Time Of The End?" at http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/ET/endofwhat.htm . On the page of the booklet I've linked you to it mentions that:

Satan's influence is as immense as it is pervasive. Odd as it may sound, one of Satan's greatest areas of influence is religion, where his ideas—not God's —dominate. Paul warns Christians of Satan's deceptive power even within Christianity: Just as "Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light," so do his representatives masquerade as "ministers of righteousness" and "apostles of Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

People don't fight for religion although they may claim to be pure holy warriors intent on executing the will of God. Religion is rather used as an ideology to justify wars waged to defend strategic and economic interests and mobilize the populace for the "cause." You may "abolish" religions" but other ideologies will pop up to replace the abolished ones.

The Russian Communists and the Chinese have tried to abolish religion. It didn't work. You can't force humans to think your way.

Terrorists would still be in evidence and convinced that their cause was right and that it was OK to do violence to people who didn't think their way.

Now who was it wanted to feed all god-believers to the pigs?

I sure hope you eat a lot of pork!

I myself do not believe religion is the main cause people are blowing themselves and others up for. Maybe partially, yes, but otherwise I think there is general anger against Western "civilization" and wealth. Of course I can't be sure.. I've never felt the need to hurt people like that..

complete rubbish,

an interpretation of their religion may have been the justification for their actions but really you need to look at americas foreign policy throught the last century. They have ousted governments and funded terror regiemes (the Taliban was American funded to fight the Russians during the cold war.) If america didnt push their agenda accross the world, people wouldnt get so disenfranchised that they take to desperate means
