Both. All depends on the cercumstances.
If you are the most knowlegeble, and capable in a given situstion, you should take the lead. If you are not, them let the person who is take the lead. Granted there are some people who's ego's make them want to allways lead, and the reverse is also true, but those are generally the minority. Most people learn to work as a team with the correct person as leader.

When im at work i tend to be the dominant "leader" type,
away from work im a follower usually because i dont care what i do because i get so little time off. I tend to enjoy whatever it is i do.

i'm a leader and follower and a team player.i follow whoever i feel is right and knows what he/she is doing. I'm a leader when no one can make a decision.

many followed Hitler blindly to their death. A conservative bias Federal Court just ruled that Bu$h has the power,( independent of Congress) to record your question and this answer.
GOD help us all and GOD protect the Constitution and the Bill of rights. The very same Constitution that Bu$h took a oath to protect and defend he has now been trashed. We have a dictator in power.
