The easiest clue to use seems to be 'Animals can drink it, but you can't.' This clue suggests that the answer is not an abstract word. I am thinking maybe something poisonous to humans due to their digestive system. Someone give me a list of what animals drink. Water. Mud (this is not really a drinkable thing--I of course wonder whether the answer is a fair one--in many quiz questions the answer is a real LET-DOWN and is UNFAIR). H2O. If you think the answer might be abstract then google for poetry that mentions 'drink' e.g. 'drink the air', 'drink love', drink death'. Tell me your results.
The major differences between animals and humans are civility, intelligence,... In these cases things that animals and not humans have include innocence, nakedness, lawlessness...
What about 'boys have [it], girls dont have [it]'? What are some differences between boys and girls? I think it means children (not adults). So not really voice. Genital organs. (Four-letter words include 'dick'.) It might be something with how the penis projects from the body, e.g. you might say that boys and not girls have 'profile' or a 'sharp point'. Bodily shape (e.g. you can say that girls have 'curve'). Socially conditioned likes, e.g. dolls versus toy guns. EVERYBODY can get love--that is not the answer.
