I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be allowed to adopt. As long as the child is loved it shouldn't matter. Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean that they have no rights to be a parent. There's alot of children out there with no family. If a gay couple could offer a child a loving, stable family then I'm all for it. As for saying that the kids don't stand a chance being brought up by gays, look at the way some kids have turned out, even when being brought up in a heterosexual environment.
You are blinkered which is probably why you're taking out of your ****.

I don't think they should be allowed. I am not anti gay but children need to be brought up in a normal home . These kids have already been through a lot and to put them in a situation where they might feel embarrassed in front of their friends or indeed bullied because of there home life is not being fair to them.

it might not be the way that i would do it but lets face it, some parents out there are just awful, some of what we see or read on tv and the papers beggars belief.
as for children getting bullied -kids get bullied for many different reasons, poverty, eating disorders, because their mum is in jail. there are a million and one resons why children are bullied.
but if they are getting bullied and coming home to people that love them and support them, then i don't see how we can judge.
everyone has a different way of life, we all make wrong decisions but if you love your partner and want ot have a family that you will love and bring up as best you can, i don't see how that is a problem.

What on earth is hideous about gays?
Most I met were artistic, good dressers, creative, fun, funny, good cooks, into healhty food and keeping fit... (on't see many with fat tummies). To friends with girls and could help a guy meet many girls..
As for unnatural... seems fine. NAtures birth control and filling in gaps with the sexes...
Its evil christianity thats wrong...
When's the last time you heard of gay inquisitions... Wars over what to wear, gay folk massacuring whole popualtions of Natives, or centuries of burning folk alive...
Its you who are hidious...
As for bullying they should teach the kid to batter the bullies and be a hero sticking up for whats right...
Oh and could teach a guy the pretend to be gay but not sure trick for pulling women so they try really hard to convert you... Seen that... funny as anything.

Its not fair for the kids, but hedrosexual or not, gays r still people, and they have rights. If they dont abuse the children in anyway, then they should be allowed to be parents. I still fell sorry for the kids though, being bullied at school for that and everything.

I think "Sweet Diva" is unstable. A child could well be loved by a couple of puftas but he is gona grow up to be a weirdo living in that environment. If they want to practise buggery and other antisocial behaviour they should not be allowed to flaunt themselves in public or be allowed to influence children. I agree, a kid has no chance - the world has gone mad!!!!!

I don't think it's right for the same-sex families to adopt or foster children because children being raised by such families don't get to know what a regular family should be like.

Nah, I can see where you're coming from as it does go against nature, but a lot of the gay people I know would make great parents. They can teach their child acceptance and non-conformity, and a lot more. If they are decent people then they will make fine parents.

Oh yeah. Much better to keep them in the foster care system or the orphanage than take the chance that they might have someone to truly love them.

I think it's right that gays should be allowed to adopt children. Not a lot of heterosexual people are that good parents, but noone says that heterosexual parents should be denied the right.
