Small cage traps may be obtained from Tractor Supply Companies for use in control of opposums and other unwanted varmits. After capture, contact the state Game and Fish Department to speak with them about where to set them loose. Ideally, they could do this for you. Heavy gloves should be worn during the release. They have rather sharp teeth.

First look for holes in area,Keep watchful eyes open ,they hate a spray of water and that may help but they do come back, but don't quit,it does get the point across.Best is their enemy, perhaps a stuffed animal would be enough an owl,Hawk or eagle, other than that get a dog .

ring some one and ask them to take a look at it if it is possums then they would set a trap and catch them and let them go somewhere out of town (IE Frost ) as long as they dont kill them or hurt them in any way !!!

I have cats. They don't hunt possums, but the cat scent keeps the possums away.
