If you have 7 days....take everything you need to study, and divide it into three sections.
Each day, plan to review one section. Rotate through each of the three sections. This way, you have studied your material twice prior to the test, but made it smaller and more manageable. The day prior to the test (remember, you have reviewed all your material twice already), do NOT study! Trust that what you need is already in your head. On the day prior to the test, sleep, eat good and healthy meals, take walks or do other light aerobic exercise, and relax.
Plan your study so that you spend 45 minutes studying, and 15 minutes doing something totally fun to relax (go online, watch tv, take a walk during a nice part of the day, etc.). Also, take 1 full hour for each meal. Take a 1 hour nap right after lunch. If you have so much to study that this will put you well into the night, it is better for you to go to bed early, and wake up early. So if you are only going to be getting, let's say, five hours of sleep instead of 7, go to bed one hour before your usual bed time, and get up 3 hours before you normally would get up. You will feel much more alert than if you stay up very late with the same number of hours of sleep. Plus, don't forget that hour nap after lunch to refresh yourself, too!
Good luck!

try first writing down a list of single words that relate to your the topic in your final exam. Then for each word write a short description, may be even draw a little diagram or picture.
