hello i am having problems starting my landrover i could drive to the shops get back in and it wont start for nearly an hour it dosint even turn over i was told it might be the immobilisr it is very destressing for me but then i could drive it all day and not a problem can anyone help thanks

how worn is your key try your spare [[FACTORY KEY] if this works OK your done however most modern immobilisers use a antenna ring that is located at the outboard end of the lock cylinder, for some reason these seem to go bad and have fixed both European and Asian models that have this type system. [they snap on the end of the lock cyl. and have a 2 wire connector] also note: IF the lock cyl. is worn in order for the computer to recognize the new lock cyl it will have to be reprogrammed by dealer.
