Got to be American Werewolf in London, I liked the dark humor of it, and the transformation scene was great, dated by the SFX of todays standards, but will always be a classic.

Neil Jordan directed, not sure about the musical score.
My fave is American Werewolf in London. Classic, or a close second Ginger Snaps.

the howling is good too
dog soldiers ok
company is an underated movie some nice bits in it
soundtrack is available to buy
neil jordan i think directed it
and its taken from a short story book called the bloody chamber but i cant remember the name of the female author sorry

An American Werewolf in London is a clasic
but i think my favorite werewolf movie would have to me "Wolf" with Jack Nicholson Michelle Pfeiffer and James Spader

Mine is Van Helsing.It is not really a werewolf movie but it is sort of a werewolf/Dracula movie.
