um, batman.
duh.
one, Batman would be in the Batmobile and no car could ever rival the Batmobile...
ok, except maybe the knight rider car or the mach 5.
two, the punisher doesn't even have special powers or anything, just military training..
and i know what you're thinking... neither does Batman, right?
technically.
but, Bruce studied martial arts and and criminology and crap like that since he was little!
also, Batman is crazy smart! always has been.. and not that i'm saying the punisher is an idiot... but don't they call marines jarheads for a reason?
so i think Batman would totally outsmart the punisher or come up with this way clever way of beating his ***.
but maybe that's just me...

Batman. First of all, I like Marvel better, but I'll be fair and give this fight to Batman. As everyone knows both Batman and The Punisher are just superhuman, they are not mutants and they have no superpowers, just really good athlets. They both win their battles because they are good strategies and use weapons. However, The Punisher use more weapons then Batman and he has that motorbike of his and therefore he barely need to run when chaching someone. On the other hand Batman always jumps and swings on buildings and therefore he's more agile then The Punisher.
You asked who would win in a chase sequence where The Punisher chases Batman, so I'll assume that they are running, like at the Olimpycs, so I'll give the victory to Batman, or in this case, The Punisher will never catch Batman if he tries to chase him, since Batman is a better athlete then The Punisher.
However if it was a race between Batman (DC) and Captain America (Marvel), then the victory would go to Captain America. Although they are both normal humans and excellent athlets, Captain America was injected with the Super Soldier Serum, which it doesn't make him a mutant but it makes him a little bit better of an athlet, so therefore he will win. Anyway, enough of that.

The Punisher is a great character, but I think Batman has too many technological advantages. I think in the end, Batman would be able to stay a step ahead of the Punisher. However, don't discount the Punisher's abilities, either. While Batman is a great escape artist, the Punisher is as great a hunter. Just click below & see all the extensive training Punisher has had, available on the first link. If any other non-powered superhero could manage to keep up with Batman in a chase, you may have found just the one. A lot of it would depend on the type of chase, because if Batman didn't have a Batvehicle, he might get caught.

Neither. Just as The Punisher pulls close to Batman.........there look in the sky! Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's...........Brokeback Superman! DATADA!!!!!! With his square jaw line, fantastic tights, and his perfectly proportioned package, Brokeback Superman would swoop down, slay the evil Punisher, befriend the lonely Buttman.......I mean Batman and then proceed to win several awards including best director, but fail to win the coveted Best Picture due to the inability of the American public to accept such an outrageously gay duo. Ahhhhhhh yes all is still well in the US of A.

Seriously...its the Batman...the freakin' Batman!!! No disrespct to the Punisher, but he's taken on criminals the Bat wouldn't put the belt on to fight. But, about the chase thing, Batman seems more at home in the shadows. Gotta go Batty for this one

If the chase scene is at night, Batman wins with the advantage of the dark.
If it's in daylight, Batman would be much easier to see. He is the DARK KNIGHT after all, and being so he works best at night.

Batman is so manueverable that the Punisher would have no chance. BUUUUTTTT if the Punisher knew Bats methods like he knew Spider-Mans, then Bats would walk right into the Punisher in a dark alley with a machine gun.

Well, Batman would catch him eventually. But Punisher would put up a fight... remember, he was a combat ad I believe a black ops soldier, he knows his stuff.
Batman would win with sheer intelligence, he is smarter than Punisher, but Castle would get his licks in.

Most likely the Bat Man, as he has tons of gadgets and vehicles he could use to out run the Punisher...I mean, Castle rocks, but the best he ever had was the Battle Van...a pimped out econoline...not exactly up to snuff to catch the batmobile!
