Who did you see? How old were you? Remember the year? Where was it? Did it change you? If so how?

My very first concert was MARY'S DANISH. It was 1989. The Roxy Theater. Hollywood. I was 15.

It was here where it dawned on me I was different. I want to wear thriftstore dresses with tights and doc martins. I want a bob hairdo. I want to carry a lunchbox as a purse. I found my very own identity and Lord knows I felt so cool. To be someone was and is a wonderful thing.

OK whats your story? any good ones?

I think I was 14 or 15, about 1964. My big sister and I went to a Beach Boys concert in Sacramento. They recorded a live album there, and you can see me on the inside cover about 3 or 4 rows back. I used to autograph that album for people (lol).

I saw a Christian group called Point of Grace at the Mabee Center in Tulsa when I was 10 or 11 which was just a few years ago (I'm 14). My mom and three of her friends sing some of their songs together at church and stuff and they entered a contest. You had to write a poem or something and if you won (which they did) you got front row seats and they got to sing a song of their choice with the group. I had already planned to go, but I didn't dream I'd be in the front row! The song they chose turned out to be Circle of Friends and we all had a great time.

Rush and UFO.
November, 1977
Market Square Arena - Indianapolis
I was 14.
This was the first of twenty-six Rush shows I've attended over the years. Hopefully, in 2007, I'll be able to add to this total.
