I lost around 50 lbs a couple of years ago by cutting down on sweetened drinks and drinking more water, and....walking a couple of miles a day. The most significant area of slimming and toning down was my hips and thighs.

RUN!!! try starting at a mile, and move on to longer distances from there. go to a track first. ( its easier cuz its flat and you can easilly mesure how long to run and how much longer you have to go) and once you are good at that you can start doing all terrain and stuff like that. good luck your thighs should start slimming up in weeks

cut them off...
well on a serious note, u can eat only one kind of food in one day ie.. u eat bananas for a day and in that day u dont eat anything else but u can eat as much bananas as u like. this way u eat nutritious food in rounds of 7 to 10 days.
your thighs will reduce soon..just as mine

Just walk alot. If you walk a couple of times every day them you should see results within a couple of months. That's what I did.
