Sure, if a large enough maggot dies it will be eaten by smaller maggots. They generally aren't fussy about what they eat.

Uhm. Maybe the plural is somewhat overkill but yes they eat everything.

On the other hand. Maggots dieing usually means all of them are 'compromised' and die of the same reason. They shrivel up and mummify in almost no time. Then there would be no fly putting eggs on that.

So usually no.

Maggots eat any DEAD tissue and will not touch living tissue. They have been used in medical treatments for many many years to debreed a badly wounded area.

I'd say so. Maggots are the grossest thing out and I think they would be into canibalism
