It most certainly does (though I don't think it has much to do with the aluminum itself, just the fact that it reduces perspiring). Never use anti-perspirant deodorants. The whole purpose of them is to reduce perspiring. Perspiring is a method the body uses to rid itself of toxins. These toxins aren't that bad, but if they build up over a period of time, they infect the lymph nodes by your armpits and potentially become cancerous. Just use regular deodorant.

I've heard of that before. I really believe it is the lack of sweating from the armpit that contributes to the risk. The impurities that have been filtered out of the bloodstream and into the lymph nodes are trapped by the antiperspirant, and remain to do damage to the tissues. Some say it's better to just use a good deoderant without the antiperspirant (aluminum).
