I work as a cashier at Wal-Mart so I have to talk a lot. My boyfriend wants me to get it done but not for that reason. So I was just woundering if I should take off work after I get it done.

Just get it done as early as possible in the day on a day that you already have off. Then make sure you suck on some ice cubes all day long and you will be fine by the next day for work. You won't need to take anymore days off.

I don't know why you would want to get your tongue pierced..I know why your boyfriend wants it and he is a pig....don't get your tongue pierced and maim yourself, damage your teeth and risk an infection because he wants a thrill in oral sex... Yes you should take off work as you will have terrible pain will talk like a moron and maybe run a fever and not be able to eat.... Don't do things because other people want them..

I got mine pierced before. It hurts for a few hours. ( Stay away from spicy and sour foods. Drink more cold drinks after you get it pierced). But it doesn't hurt for days. I took it off at the end cause people couldn't understand me when I talked.
