Alright so I came up with an idea on my own, but if anyone has a way of expanding on it or making it better, let me know! I plan on leaving notes around the city we live in with clues to the next note...kind of like a trip down memory lane. It's close to our 4 year anniversary anyways, so it's kind of like an early celebration, even though we never celebrate it anyways. I'll drive around the city with him helping him if he does. The clues consist of things that have to do with our realtionship or special things that happened to each of us during our time together. Does this sound like something a guy would appereciate? Or is it too girly-ish?

honestly... everyone in high school does this for their boyfriend...
or guys do it as the "cute and different" way to ask a girl to prom..
i'd go back to the drawing board if i were you..

Congratulations! First for the anniversary and secondly for being in love after 4 years in the same manner as your early years.
The idea is good but the part were u stated " we never celebrate it anyway" needs some introspection.
Perhaps u should go back to the place where you first dated, on this anniversary to bring back the sweet memories. This will be 1 option to begin the celebrations.

Veryf frankly speaking, I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't remember half the things that u 2've done over the last 4 years. Trust me. And it would only hurt you to learn that he doesn't remember any of your special moments.
This comes from many years of being a guy.
Keep it simple, buy him an X-box with lots of games, he will love you forever!!
