YOU ARE NOT AN EXCEPTION
This happens to most of the people to various levels but they dont show it outwardly. So remember all are sailing in the same boat.
It is not they will remember all points and score more and you would get less etc.
Normally you have to prepare for the examination right from day one. That is if you are promoted from Grade 9 to Grade 10. right from the first day of the class you must strat preparing for the exam.
Some schools have weekly revision test followed by monthly tests then quaterly, ha;lf yearly etc. The idea is that you become familiar with your subjects and the examination phobia. It is because of lack of such frequent revisions and menatlly going through what we have studied and the practise of keeping handy pocket notes which even in a park you can take out and viuvidly remember all that you studied in a calm and quiet atmosphere so that it becomes part and parcell of your knowledge. You are not preparing to pass an exam but be the knowledgeable person in the world even after you are out of school.
Also stop unneccsarily worrying. The more frightened you are the more forgetful you become SO CALM MEDITATION WILL HELP YOU.

Why tension is caused? It is caused because we tend to entertain thoughts whose solution is not within our reach.

Therefore firstly, you must know your limitations as a human being that you at this stage of your life can not do many things though you have the urge to do so. In the examination hall stop thinking till you receive the question paper. Once you receive the question paper, be cool and just read it silently and mark which questions you can answer the best. You also keep the time factor so that you have sufficient time for each of the answers you know the best. Go on answering without bothering how much you will get on assessment in each of the answers. On coming home prepare for the next paper. Only at the end of all papers make your self-assessment. Time management in the examination hall is of great importance, indeed.

it's basically a matter of focus and relaxation

usually people tense up because they think about how bad it would be to fail, how much is at stake, etc

shut out everything except the fact that you're going to answer questions, don't think about unnecessary things

usually people who finds it difficult to shut things out, do this by redirecting their focus, i.e: imagining others in underwears, etc

i personally imagine that i'm going to do a quiz for myself

1. take a deep breath, take control of your own mind
2. imagine yourself in a comfortable environment ( your own room, a meadow, jogging, whatever )
3. enjoy the quiz/test/exam

the human powers of imagination are immense and can be used for or against yourself, it's your choice

Pray. No matter what you believe in, pray that everything will be fine. Pray that you have done all the revision you could, all pray that you will deliver it in the examination hall.

Calm down and pretend that everyone's just as tense as you.

properly I generally do this because of the fact of two motives, first is i like to rotate by neck in all guidelines, and 2d is, i like to be alert of what's happening around so as that my chits won't get caught ;-)
