Are ethics at work ever unethical or are they the gospel?

Ethics are not, by definition, unethical. However, I suspect you mean something specific, such as a rule that the company you work for calls "ethics" which you question. Try to tell us about it.

It all depends on what you are referring to, and if it is in the companies rules and regulations, and so long as it does not violate any laws.
