You don't need to say anything. She's wrapped up in her new relationship, right now. Will you want to be there for her when/if he breaks her heart and she finds herself alone?

This is a very slow process, but it works: Slowly pull away from your friend, see less and less of them, call them less and less, write them less and less, Act like you have some place important to be when they want to hang out, Say you are taking new classes, lessons, tests, studies, courses, anything just so you won't have to hang out with this person so much, and eventually, (hopefully), they will do the same and find new interests! Good luck! By the way, I just now noticed the (bottom) half of your question, sorry. It seems that she is doing to you what I said to do to her! Sad, but when it is over, it's over, no one ever said life was gonna be easy.

hi, i am going thru a similar experience right now..my best friend of 19 years, we have grown apart...what i am coming to realize is that the friendship is not lost..just changed...i am so happy for the times that we had, the good and the bad.would not trade them for the world..neither of us are bad people or have changed for the bad..just different and that is ok..im glad we are comfortable enough to be ourselves and know that we will be alright...i wish the best for her..nothing in life is a constant..there is always change so i believe in enjoying what i can and being in the moment....even though it hurts like a big dog to have us traveling seperate roads now....

Move on,find your owe friends, time will pass and the truth will be known. We all grow up,how we handle friendship when young shows best when the friendship is more important later in life.Don't react with hate and remorse .Your gay, perhaps she is bi-sexual,sounds like a Jerry Springer re-run.

Its natural that people over time loose interest in each other its all part of human nature, try to forget this friend and make some new ones, best wishes.

Sit down and have a chat together. Be honest.
Give your friend space with her but then also try to become friendly with her new partner too.
Maybe you all could do things together sometimes....
