yes snakes do not depend on human interaction. Though snakes that have a violent displacement that have been trained to be handled will revert back to being a biter. Corn snakes,rat snakes and others as such tend to most always be passive. Boa's and pythons differ greatly between snakes them selves. I used to have a 8 foot female redtail boa who was gentle as a kitten even if not handled for a week or more, on the other hand her sister was always flitty and would be nippy if not handled every few days

It will be fine. A snake is a fairly indiffferent pet; indifferent to you, I should say. It isn't like a dog, where a lack of sufficient attention will cause problems.

Yes, it will be fine. Snakes do not have to be handled.
It will just be a little harder when you finally do try to handle it again.

It depends on the snake species. Rat snakes tend to be gentle, no matter how long you leave them alone. King snakes tend to be more nippy. I can't speak for pythons, never having owned one.
