That's not true.

2006-06-09 22:02:04 · answer #1 · answered by Sully 7 · 1 0

They're NOT!!

The simple fact is that the only terrorists people hear a lot about are the one's that annoy AMERICA!! That's why you only hear about the Muslim ones!

It's also why, when the IRA was bombing non-Americans, instead of calling them terrorists the Americans GAVE THEM FUNDS FOR WEAPONS!!

Didn't you know that the Israelis are terrorists to the Palestinians? That the French resistance were terrorists to the Germans? That Americans are terrorists to Iraqis, and a large proportion of free-thinking people world-wide??!!

In Spain, the Basque people feel victimised (probably with good reason!) and they have 'freedom fighters' too ... but the Spanish government calls them 'terrorists'!

The only 'terrorists' are those who attack YOU - whoever you are, your people are the true 'freedom fighters', and the enemy is the 'terrorist'!!

Terrorists have been around since 701BC in the time of King Sennacherib.
Fighting in the same way as today with fire.
I don't believe all muslims are terrorists.
One thing I do query two remarks made on 2 different occasions made me take notice.
An elderly German couple said a few years ago "If the muslims begin to infiltrate into Australia we are leaving we will go home.
Another occasion a young man from europe said a similar thing that if they come here he will sell up and go back to his home land because they are trouble.

You never heard of the irish? The media called them the terrorists a few years ago, now they've just turned on the muslims. Besides, terrorists that call themselves muslims are NOT seen as muslims by the vast majority of muslims. Therefore, no terrorist is technically muslim.

Assuming terrorism is attacking civilian targets indiscriminately to create fear, probably most terrorists are Muslim. That assumption is made by the size of that population and the frequency of news reports of terrorism worldwide in Muslim countries. However, it would be a major flaw to think that most Muslims are terrorists. Knowing several Muslims personally, they are no different from anyone else other than they seem to act more like individuals than "groupies" of other cultures and backgrounds.

That is a naive thought process. Almost all terrorists come from different backgrounds. Today we are seeing a rise in 17 to 23 yr old young men sympathizing with terrorists from different sectors whether it be the white power movement or al-queda. These people believe that violence is the answer. They don't have to be Muslim to be a threat to us all.

"Whether Al Qaeda sympathizers, abortion clinic bombers or a single eco-terrorist waging violence on behalf of the environment, U.S. authorities say a small number of fellow citizens pose as much a threat to the nation as foreign terrorists."

"Last weekend, police here arrested 17 people mostly young Canadians alleging they took part in plot to bomb targets in either Toronto or Ottawa."

Most terrorists groups are small and local e.g. The IRA in Northern Ireland, FARC in Colombia, Hamas in Israel/Palestine.

Al Qaeda and the like have embarked on a global war or "Jihad" as they like to call it, hence they have a much larger following.

One of the main aims of Al Qaeda is to convert the entire World to the Muslim faith (or to eliminate those who don't want to be converted or who belong to an unacceptable race i.e. Jews). This gives them more appeal to many people to Islamic fundamentalists.

Therefore in terms of size they are pretty more substantial than any home-grown terrorists.

As they are fighting against non-Muslims in the West it gets greater TV coverage her than elsewhere.

There are more people killed daily in Africa by Terrorists than in Iraq, but it gets very little TV coverage as it doesn't involve Westerners.

There are other terrorists in the world, of course, but only the Muslims seem to be interested in making it a world phenomenon.

Where is the proof..and you are speaking on end truth...may be for you Muslims are terrorists and for Muslims Christians are terrorist; how can one justify occupying someone' land with out his business, US is occupying lot of land in Saudi Arabia; Afghanistan; Iraq, is not that terrorism, 1000000 people dies since USA invaded Iraq, may be 2000 US soldiers died who is terrorist, USA or those fighting them, who killed 1000000 people,
Millions lots homes, jobs, families worldwide because of aggression of other nations, China steps forward and presses Taiwan, not one says anything, Afghanistan wants to have Islamic Nation, it is terrorist and US justifies that,
Crusades are launched and thousands slaughtered and it is justified and Muslims preach and ask for their rights they are labeled as terrorists...
So think who is terrorist before you label anyone....

Cos it's the freedom of speech that the media agencies stick to labelling any ppl what ever they want to serve some purpose for the authorities.........
Just to state facts, Timothy Mc Veih the person responsible for Oklahoma 97 bombing (160 killed, over 400 wounded) was not a muslim.
The derailment & train crash of Arizona, where 3 coaches of the super express fell down 30 feet from a bridge to a dry river bed (over 100 ppl killed) was attributed to adolescent sabotage. They found a note from a group that called themselves "SOG" or "Sons of the Gestapo", but investigators think it was a cover up.
