if you want to distinguish between love and infatuation dont use your heart coz the heart is blind when it comes to love (whether true or not)... so what your going to do is to use your mind to counterbalance your hearts decisions...

If you just admired his physical appearances,he's being star of the campus,his get up and his smiling,Its Infatuated or infatuation.But if you know him well and accepts his upside down personality in short as what he is and not on what he have..then its LOVE

What was it about him/her that caught your eye? Was it physical appearance, money, car, hairstyle? If you are looking external, its probably infactuation. If you're looking internal, it's probably love.

true love means that you will let the person go if it will make them happier, infatuation means that you have to have that person with you at all times. That's my opinion anyway.
