If you loose it,not much worth having,I was in a situation where I was new to an area, bought a fixer up house,Not knowing the neighbor,he gave me a hard time and the local police here seemed to be rent a cops, never did anything,I struggled it seemed daily trying to keep whats ours.Ended with a heart attack, not worth having. But the house did triple in value.Moral of this is weigh the pros's and cons of a situation, before you loose it,is it worth the gain or your health?

My husband. Pain in the butt. I ask him not to do something, and he goes and does it anyway. He has a habit of kicking his foot on the floor. It gets the dogs barking, and drives me nuts. But this one time, a few years ago. I went to the store for us and his sister. Instead of paying for two seperate orders, I paid for everything at once. Well, he got mad at me, and started yelling and calling me names. Well a few choice words back to him. so Instead of hitting him like I wanted, I kicked a hole in the wall. Another time I threw a plate on the floor. Now over the years I just try to ignore him, and go my merry own way. But lately, when I go somewhere, (we have three dogs) he tells me the dogs sleep. So he doesn't let them out. They go crazy when I come home. It just makes me mad, because I have found a wet spot from the puppy. And he still says "They just sleep around me" I just get so po'ed at him. I know it's not right, but boy would I like to smack him silly sometimes.

I don't ever 'loose' it. I don't get that mad...I've learned to channel anger, which I seldom feel anyways. Someone causing physical, emotional or mental harm to my kids would be my biggest challenge, but to lose my own self-control would cause me to deal with the situation poorly, and possibly not in my harmed child's favor.

When people ask me stupid questions or make stupid remarks about things that I have strong feelings about. Once my mom made a stupid remark about a very senstive subject that I have strong feelings for and have thought very long and hard about and I snapped, it was weird. I didn't get violent but I could feel my heart rate rise and blood pressure rise and my voice changed and I spoke before I could think.

When I tell somebody something in confidence and then they throw it back in my face when we fight. In my book if you do that you are not worth being a friend.
