here's the thing. i can so relate to you i think we should go shopping together!!! lol. what you have to do is go into like victoria's secret or a fitting place and actually get fitted and measured. it's the only sure-fire way. they know what they're doing. and then you should give me best answer b/c i know what i'm talkin about!!! lol. i'm a D or DD...so yeah. trust me. bras area pain in the ...well breast!

Finding a perfect fitting bra can be a daunting task for most women. Many fall into the 'booby trap' by either making do with what they have or simply choosing the bra size they think they are. Most of us still don't seek expert advice when buying a bra. We go on buying the same sized bra for years without considering whether it still fits. Wearing the wrong sized bra may not just affect our appearance, it can also affect our health. If you aren't able to visit one of our stores for a free expert fitting, follow the simple steps below and measure yourself. When doing this, please remember to wear the most comfortable bra you have (avoid push-up bras) and relax.
Your Bra Size
Measure around your back and directly underneath your bust, ensuring the tape is held firmly in place (see diagram - line a). Use the chart below to determine your bra size:

Your Cup Size
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring that the tape is held firmly in place (see diagram - line b).
The difference between this measurement and your bra size will give you your cup size. For example, if there is no difference between the two sizes, your cup fitting will be 'A', and so on. If your measurement is an odd number, e.g. 33 inches, round up to the nearest even number, i.e. 34. See table below for further details.

Get The Perfect Fit
Before you try on a bra for the first time, let the straps out almost fully (just allowing a finger width), and fasten the back on its loosest setting. You can then re-adjust them if necessary. To get a full fit, lean forward and allow your bust to fall into the cups.

the number is the measurement around the entire upper body lets say from nipple to nipple. the a b aand c are the cup size. an
a cup is about the size of a small dried navel orange a B cup is larger than average grapefruit and a C cup is about the size of pond and a half of those big purple grapes.in the hand sizing technique an A cup is less than a handful,B cup a handful and a C is over a handful.also the roundness of breasts also can mess up my technique. the more round the more cup is needed.

FITTING GUIDE
STEP 1 : Finding you body size
Place a tape measure around the rib cage, directly under the bottom bra edge. If the measurement is an even number, add four (4) inches.
example: 28" + 4" = 32"
If the measurement os an odd number, add five (5) inches.
example: 29" + 5" = 34"
STEP 2: Find your cup size
Measure the fullest part of your bust, making sure that the tape is loose enough for a little movement around the breast area.
The difference between this measurement and the body size(including the additional 4" or 5") is equivalent to your cup size.

Since no brand or model of bra consistently uses the exact same measurements for A, B,C, etc, sizes, the only tried-and-true method for actually knowing if a bra fits is to try it on. Sorry! Same with jeans. Knowing your size only ever gives you a general idea, since they vary from company to company.

Soo easy- measure the diameter round your nipples (the largest point) in cm and then measure the diameter of your chest just below the breasts. A difference of 10-12cm is a AA, 12-14cm is an A, 14-16cm is a B etc...

believe me or not, I have and use 4 different sizes of bra, 32C, 32D,34 B and 34 C. like clothes,different maker makes slightly differentin sizes and models. Try before buying that is the best thing for me.

Yep its hard. Different bras.... inconsistent sizes.
1st measure your chest. +2 inches. To know your size, you actually have to try them on. If your crown is situated at the center of the cups then the bra is your size. If not, then get a bigger size.

The best way is to go and get measured. Its no big deal, they just measure you up and then give you the bra you need. Myer and lots of other shops do it. Have fun shopping.
