Probably for the same reason women who are having affairs refuse to forgive their husbands. Each wants to have their cake and eat it too. Too me, your question sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. If you are cheating on your husband don't expect forgiveness for it. You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
