can i get internet service without an active phone line?

I do not have a phone number via landline- but I have a cell phone

they have a office kit that you can get at the cell phone store that connects to your cell phone and you can get broadband speed on it. Or you can opt for satillite internet....they insatll a satilite on your house of internet only.

I do not know if this helps,but I've seen Hugh's net advertised on DirecTV..it's supposed to be internet thru satilite.....and if your cell is verizon....I know they have internet service also....
