I think "Vanessa W" may be correct. The asexual population is growing to the point that a recent study found that 2% of the population in England and the US are asexual. Simply stated they just aren't interested. It hasn't been studied enough to see if this continues years after in life yet. Researchers suspect that it will change but some speculate that that percentage will increase.

i think it's impossible that you won't eventually be attracted to someone in a sexual way. have you ever had an accident that affected your genital area?
were you ever raped(if so it could be psycological)? if i were in the situation you are in i would go to a specialist to find out why you aren't getting attracted to anyone. there may be a medical or psycological condition that causes this.
the first time i recall having a sexual attraction was to my 3rd grade teacher, miss bettes, though i didn't understand what i was feeling then. haven't you ever felt a pleasant ache in the middle of the body when you were looking at a woman and had your peter get hard? if you haven't, you need to see a specialist. i'm not saying it's wrong that you haven't had sex yet. i'm saying it's extreamly different that you haven't been sexually attracted to anyone yet.

While it it possible that you are not attracted to either gender at the moment, it is not impossible that you are in love with yourself.
My assumption is that there is something you are not telling us about yourself and until then, only you hold the answer to the question.

I think that society puts pressure on all of us to classify ourselves as either straight, gay, bi, transgender etc. If you don't know what you are and have no real curiosity, it really doesn't matter. As long as you are ok with your situation you shouldn't worry about it.
And just because you haven't discovered your sexuality doesn't mean that the most obvious choice of profession is religious based.
Take care and just be true to yourself.

if that is true you will have a lot of spare time on your hands ,you could be a priest or a philosopher.
or a holy man,or become a filthy rich business man.
just think of all the money you are going to save .
most of peoples time and money is spend on finding and entertaining another person for sexual conquest.

So you have felt no attraction to anybody? That is something I haven't heard before, except from people who want to become priests, or brothers in the Catholic church. Maybe you do have a calling to become something in the church.

lonliness can be a terrible thing... try to find a hobby which will bring you into contact with a lot of people eventually you might find it just happens... don't try too hard to be either straight or gay... have you ever noticed \either sex taking an interest in you?

I was like you. I married because it was "expected" Now, aged 50, I can see that we do not have to conform to society's norms. Just be yourself and don't dwell on it.

you may be A-sexual. it's not unheard of. don't worry about it. if it really doesn't bother you. if you just asked out of curiosity, that's good. if you're asking out of a real concern that you might be labeled or some other sort of fear, that's different.
