i want to get on the pill, but i've never seen a gynocologist before. am i going to have to have a pelvic exam? btw, i'm not sexually active if that makes a difference.

due to some answers that question why i want to be on the pill in the first place...
i want it because i'm irregular and i'm tired of messing up my clothes because i wasn't ready. also, from what i understand, it will help with acne, cramps, and mood swings. i am not, nor will i become, sexually active until i am married.

yes you will have a pelvic exam! sorry no way around that one. the first one kind of sux and i wish i had a women do it! having a man do it was really uncomfortable! I wasn't sexually active when i started either.

Ok yes you have to have the exam but why would u wan the pill if ur not sexually active. I guess ur planning ahead good one

all gynos require a pelvic exam for the pill, sexually active or not.

why have you chosen to go on the pill at a young age?
what about condoms? they will also protect you from many std's.
