Hi, I'm 7 mths pregnant with my 3rd child, I starting having pains a few weeks ago, just random stabbing, pulling pains, if that makes sense, I would advise you to see a doctor but 9 times out of ten it will only be your body getting ready for the baby so try to worry yourself too much, its probably where your skin is stretching as your baby is growing its normal...I don't think premature labour is the answer here, but then again I thought I was going into labour when mine started...so its very easy to worry.

I would phone your midwife and just ask her to come and check especially if its your first baby, with my first 2 I didn't show, bellywise...but with this one I'm hugggggggggggge I think its coz this ones a boy and the other 2 are girls, but all women are different.

Hope this helps...probably just been babbling but there we go!!!

Good Luck

Gem

Lay on your left side for about 30 minutes.. or until you fart. It's gas pains, the baby is all scrunched up in there and pushing against your intestines and the air is trapped in there.
I always have this problem when I'm pregnant, as soon as you .. um.. flatulate.. you'll feel better.

Pre mature pregnancy?

You mean labor. You better call your Dr.

Are they sudden, sharp pains? It sounds like round ligament spasms. They are harmless to the baby. Try rubbing the place that hurts.

It could also be your bra strap is on too tight or the wires on your corset is sticking out. Also check if your bedspring is worn out, it could be poking you while you're asleep. Or maybe you were laughing so much when you found out you have to pee on the ept applicator and not dunk in the toilet bowl instead.

it might be that the baby is laid in a funny position r it might be practice contractions/braxton hicks. If you still feel worried then phone your midwife or labour ward and explain how you are feeling to them and they may ask you to go in for monitoring. Don't feel silly about asking them for help, that's what they are there for and they ALWAYS say better to be safe than sorry.
