Are you using a shared computer with many users?

If so, it makes sense.

Well the account by which u r logging on in ur computer is not administrative account. It is a "Limited Account type",and a limited account holder have no rights to install or uninstall a Software.
You must log in by ur Administrative Account.

Whoever is the "owner" of the comp, or administrator, is the only person who can change the programming.

your user that you are login with is not an administrator user , u can ask your administrator ...(it could be your bigger brother;) ) to install it for you

go to adobe . com downloads if that doesnt work try software patch.com
