If you go to your pool supply they have a thing called a leaf cover for your pool. It is kind of like nylon netting to stretch across the pool when you are not using it to keep leaves out of the pool.
Get one and use it. If they can't swim around and get tangled in the netting they will not come to visit you.
You gotta think like a duck. What do they do in water, they swim.
If you don't want them swimming in your water, you have to make it not a fun time at your house. Draining the pool is not the answer though. Making the ducks not like your water is!

1. find a nice big container
2. catch said ducks
3. place said caught ducks in said container
4. transport said container (therein said ducks) to a place far away from the pool ( a few miles should do it)
5. release ducks in said remote location
voila! problem solved.
or you could just have roast duck very weekend until you run out of ducks.
whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote...
