try calling it.. using another phone... if its in silent mode... try remembering where did you place it... and if it is stolen.. call the police...

Looking for your own, knowing approximately where it is: call it, if it is on silent mode, do it in the night!
If you mean another telephone, you need GPS system, thus if it is available you can locate it!
