In Philippines near Universities and near Big bookstores . They are on the sidewalks as extensions of small bookstores . In Manila you can find them in along CM Recto and like 25% price of bran new books. All subjects and authors.

Amazon.com is where I usually get the best deals and also the best selection. ebay's worth a shot too, as are your campus classifieds. Students usually sell cheaper than the bookstore.
